The health sector urges the public to restrict access to public and private offices to only essential services.
Deputy Director General of Health Services, Dr. Hemantha Herath, said that with the proliferation of corona these days, going to public places should be minimized as much as possible.
Meanwhile, Secretary to the Ministry of Public Service, Provincial Councils and Local Government, J.J Ratnasiri said that the activities of public institutions should be restricted to essential services and public gatherings should be minimized.
The Ministry also stated that public days will not be held in government institutions until further notice.
