The US Secretary of State is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka after meeting the Prime Minister of India.
This is the first time in 16 years that a top US diplomat has visited the region.
The US Secretary of State is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka this afternoon (27) and will remain in Sri Lanka until the next day.
