TNA strongly opposes to human rights resolution of Wigneshwaran…

The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) is currently taking steps to reach a consensus among Tamil parties to bring a new resolution on Sri Lanka to the Geneva Human Rights Council, calling on the Sri Lankan government to give more time to resolve the problems of the Tamil people.

However, the decision has been rejected by the leader of the Tamil Makkal Tesiya Kuttani Party, MP CV Wigneswaran and the leader of the Tamil National People’s Front, MP Gajendra Kumar Ponnambalam.

C.V Wigneswaran, a Member of Parliament, has sent a letter to TNA MP Sumanthiran opposing this.
