‘Stop the trade union struggles for God’s sake – Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi

The Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi has stated that the police will have to arrest those who violate the health guidelines at a time when there is such a catastrophe in the interest of political parties and political forces under the pretext of the trade union rights of parents and teachers who are educating the children of this country.

She also says that the police in this country have to strictly enforce the law as the health guidelines are the same for Joseph Stalling, VI Lelin, Kalmax and Piyum Hansamali and for anyone like Mohamed who spit in the face of the public health inspector in Atalugama.

In a time of national catastrophe, she asks how the leaders who lead the trade unions of teachers’ mothers and fathers can tell their children to follow these health guidelines when they start school, if they are publicly violating these guidelines.

Therefore, in the name of God, we call on the political parties and political forces to stop the so-called trade union struggles under political influence until the Kovid epidemic is brought under control.

She made this statement while making a special statement at the Ministry of Health.
