Plans to make new rules for disabled people!

It has been revealed that around one million people in the Sri Lankan population are disabled.
Minister of State Shehan Semasinghe says that the necessary regulations will be strengthened to further increase access to public and private institutions as well as public places for persons with disabilities.
Addressing the National General Assembly for the Disabled, the Minister said that steps would be taken to amend the Gazette Notification issued in 2006 on facilitating the disabled.
