Tamil National Alliance (TNA) MP M A Sumanthiran has tabled a draft Public Health Emergency Bill to face with the global spread of Covid 19 in the country and to fight legitimately against future epidemics.
The bill has been sent to the Secretary – General of Parliament for gazetting as a private member’s suggestion, and has been introduced as a bill that can be used to declare a state of public health protection, to take special measures for public health.
