39,590 in 2015, 36,937 in 2016, 35,978 in 2017 and 36,355 in 2018. In 2019, 34,578 were reported respectively.
Also, the Police Department has received the highest number of complaints regarding obstruction of duty by police officers in 2015. There are 122 such complaints. In second place is in 2018. That is 102 complaints.
There were 74 complaints in 2016, 89 in 2017 and 94 in 2019.
Juvenile crime has decreased by 5% in 2019 compared to 2018. Rape of women has dropped by 27% in 2019 compared to 2018.
The Police Department consists of 494 Police Stations island wide, 44 Regional Divisions and 62 Functional Divisions.
