Guidelines should issue to ensure that the rights of the employers…

The Civil society organization for employer’s rights in the free trade zone has requested from the Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission (SLHRC) to issue guidelines to ensure that the rights of the employers are not violated in the ongoing  Covid repression in the Free Trade Zone.

The Presidential Task Force on the Suppression of Covid also requests that government agencies, including the National Operations Center for the Prevention of Covid Outbreaks, the Sri Lanka Army and the Sri Lanka Police, be made aware of the adoption of these guidelines / criteria.

In this regard  Civil Society Collective Requests from the Human Rights Commission to held a special discussion between trade union representatives, civil society organizations, trade unions, Board of Investment officials, representatives of the Presidential Task Force, employers’ unions, security forces, health and labor officials  immediately.
