Six Sri Lankans are contesting for the Milan and Napoli Municipal Council elections in Italy which commenced last (03).
It is reported that three women are among the candidates.
The number of Sri Lankans in Italy has now exceeded 100, with the majority living in Milan and Naples.
Accordingly, 4 Sri Lankans are scheduled to contest for the Milan Municipal Council and 2 for the Napoli Municipal Council.
