Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has stated that there will be no media repression by updating the Press Council Act and template is being created in Indonesia and Malaysia in this regard.
A journalist asked at a cabinet media briefing yesterday (23) whether the revision of the Press Council would lead to media repression.
