Bhupathi Nalin says that instead of analyzing the system, the alternative newspaper has fallen in place on some people to bring.
He recalls that alternative journalism had the ability to manipulate the country’s opinion since then, and that the temperance movement that existed before the formation of the Vijaya Newspapers Company, and the Anagarika Dharmapala operation, were in some ways similar to alternative newspapers.
He points out that after modernization, alternative newspapers emerged from about seven companies, most of which were left newspapers, which had a lot of power among the print media.
After that an internal journalism was born and accordingly small newspapers such as the Pilot and the Voice of the Left emerged and through it the alternatives were taken to the people of the country.
However, he points out that after 1989, newspapers began to emerge only around a certain person, and that even Ravaya clashed with its editor, Victor Ivan.
Anidda, Ravaya newspapers did not talk about the Central Bank robbery.
Bhupathi Nalin further stated that the newspapers of the day after tomorrow have abandoned the Enlightenment.
He was speaking at a media briefing held at the Baseline Media Center, Dematagoda this afternoon (05) on Ravaya, Today and the Future of Alternative Journalism. This was organized by journalists for the rights.
