An earthquake has caused severe damage in Turkey and Greece.

A small tsunami was also reported in the coastal areas and people took to the streets in fear, foreign media reported.

The Turkish city of Izmir has been badly damaged.

About 70 people were rescued from the rubble.

More than 700 people were injured in the quake.
