A woman who was hospitalized after being injured in a gas explosion has died, reports say.
She is a 53 year old mother of four from Wilgamuwa, Matale and has been living in a rented house in Nattaranpotha, Kundasale, Kandy.
On the morning of December 1, as she was getting ready to cook, the gas stove exploded and crashed. She was admitted to the Kandy National Hospital with severe burn injuries and died on the 10th.
