It is reported that a group of social activists protesting in front of the Presidential Secretariat have been arrested today (20).
It is reported that 21 persons including Anuruddha Bandara, Anjula Rajapaksa, Dhanish Ali, Isuru Warnakulasuriya, Chameera Madusanka, Chandimal Gamage, Bandula Prasad, Nilantha Sampath, Rumesh Indika and Mohamed Faseem have been arrested.
Meanwhile, reports from the Galleface protest area state that the group was taken to the Peliyagoda police station. Currently, the army is heavily deployed around the Gota go gama.
