The Ministry of Health says that investigations will begin from today (08) to find out whether there are monkeypox infected people in the country.
Dr. Anwar Hamdani, Director of Medical Technology Services of the Ministry of Health stated that test kits have been received from the World Health Organization for that purpose.
He said that the related test kits will be given to Boralla Medical Testing Institute and Kandy General Hospital today.
