Italy has taken steps to impose new travel restrictions as the number of daily Covid 19 infections increases.
The government says it will not close the country completely, as it did before, once again at a critical juncture.
Yesterday (18) alone, 11,705 Covid infected people were identified in Italy.
Steps have also been taken to introduce new health guidelines, including the suspension of public gatherings, public meetings and sports events.
So far, the total number of Covid 19 infected people identified in Italy is 414,241 and there have been 36,543 deaths.
