The Sri Lankan embassy in Saudi Arabia says 28 Sri Lankans migrant workers in Saudi Arabia have died due to corona virus infections in the past four months.
The Saudi health ministry has revealed that most of the dead were long – term patients with non – communicable diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer. According to Saudi sources, the bodies were cremated in accordance with international quarantine laws.
In the past few months, about 70 people have been diagnosed with coronary heart disease and are receiving treatment.
